









"Armonía, Esencia de Libertad"

This is a captivating piece in my origami-inspired series, where I celebrate profound connections to the land, light, creation, and harmony, using the timeless principles of the Golden Ratio. The idea that this ratio, often referred to as the Golden Section or Phi, governs both natural and artistic beauty, infuses the painting with a sense of balance and universal order.
The imagery of two paper cranes, once blank sheets, resonates deeply. These cranes symbolize the journey of transformation—just as a flat sheet of paper is folded into something intricate and meaningful, so too are we shaped by our experiences. The cranes' spiritual dance embodies the fluidity and interconnections of life, and their folds reflect the personal stories, challenges, and growth we each go through.
The inclusion of clouds softening the landscape symbolizes thoughts and emotions that connect and blend everything together. The sun's rays, penetrating every fold and line, represent clarity, hope, and the continuity of life, lighting up every thought and experience. The painting encapsulates the beauty of life’s transformative journey—celebrating individuality while recognizing our shared connection to the places and experiences that shape us.
Ultimately, "Armonía, Esencia de Libertad" evokes a sense of freedom, where life's intricate patterns—both physical and emotional—come together to create something unique, delicate, and liberated. It’s a powerful metaphor for human existence, where we are all folded and shaped by the forces of life, yet remain radiant and full of potential.

In the background I used a layout of a Golden Ratio, the theme which has fascinated me for some period of time...
I ordered a custom made canvas and also handpicked the linen for it.
The canvas size is also done using the Fibonacci Sequence (55x89cm).
*The "golden ratio" is a unique mathematical relationship. Golden Ratio and the Fibonacci Sequence: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, ... (The next number is found by adding up the two numbers before it).
